This May half-term, discover how robots help the 999 services save lives.

From bomb-disposal robots to search-and-rescue technology, robots are used by 999 crews to enter places that are too dangerous for people. During the holidays, the museum will be filled with hands-on activities exploring these incredible machines.

Children can design and build their own paper cup rescue robot, take on the robot-driving challenge, and try moving and lifting objects robot-style, just like the robotic arms used by our robot.

All activities are included with normal museum admission, and remember your ticket can be upgraded free of charge on the day into a Year Ticket so you can visit again and again.
