This May Bank Holiday Weekend, visitors will have the chance to climb aboard and explore our historic RNLI lifeboat, the City of Sheffield. Usually viewed from the outside, this special open weekend gives you the opportunity to step on deck, look around inside, and discover what life was like for the brave volunteer crews who answered emergency calls at sea.

The lifeboat will be open during the museum’s normal opening hours throughout the May Bank Holiday Weekend, subject to weather conditions.
