Sculptures and drawings by Yorkshire artist Paul Digby capture the people behind the uniform in their daily roles protecting society, from the pandemic to the everyday moments that often go unseen, becoming Just Another Day on Duty for our emergency workers.

On display from 1 to 12 April during the Easter school holidays, this temporary exhibition brings together Paul Digby’s work as it joins the museum collection. Alongside the exhibition, families can enjoy relaxed drawing activities inspired by the artworks.

The original exhibition and artworks were made possible through funding from Arts Council England, which enabled Digby’s work to tour galleries and schools across the country, engaging young people in exploring art and the day-to-day roles of the emergency services.
