This KS3 geography workshop explores how natural hazards such as wildfires and flooding are linked to the environment and the way people interact with it. Students will investigate the causes of wildfires and floods, including the impact of weather, landscape and human activity, and will look at examples such as the Sheffield floods to understand how these events affect communities. Through discussion, case studies and geographical enquiry, the session helps students consider the relationship between people, place and the changing environment.
