This tour explores the building’s history as the country’s first purpose-built combined Police, Fire, and Ambulance Station and tells the stories of the people who lived and worked within its walls.

The tour begins at 2.30pm with a 15-minute introduction in the museum café, followed by a 45-minute guided walk through the museum. The tour includes access to parts of the historic building that are not normally open to visitors.

Make the most of your Year Ticket. If you hold a valid Year Ticket at the time of the event, you can join the building tour for just £5.50 per person. This offer is valid for the named individuals on the Year Ticket only.

Tickets cost £15 per person and include entry to the museum exhibitions, the guided building tour and a free hot drink. All tickets will be upgraded to Year Tickets at no extra cost.
