Support our self-funded, independent, national charity.
The National Emergency Services Museum is a self-funded, independent charity dedicated to preserving and sharing the national story of the 999 services. We care for and interpret the country’s first purpose-built combined Police, Fire and Ambulance Station — a landmark of local, national and historic importance in the development of the emergency services.
We receive no ongoing public funding towards our day-to-day running costs. The museum survives through a combination of entrance fees, activities and events, school and group visits, income from our gift shop and café, and the generous support of donors.
Every donation helps us to:
- Care for and preserve this historic building and the museum collections
- Share the history and development of our 999 services and the story of the people behind the uniform
- Deliver learning programmes for schools, families and communities
- Maintain and protect this nationally significant historic collection and site for future generations
By donating, you are directly supporting an independent museum that exists to tell the stories of service, sacrifice and community, and to ensure they are never forgotten.
Thank you for helping us keep the history of the 999 services alive.
