999 Staff...

The National Emergency Services Museum is a self-funded, independent museum and does not receive any financial support for the day-to-day running of the charity.

As a THANK YOU to the Emergency Services for their ongoing support with donations of uniform, equipment and most importantly your stories, 999 staff get discounted entry into the museum - it's just £5.50 with a valid form of ID.

How does this work?

When entering the museum please make our staff aware that you are a member of 999 staff and show your valid ID.

Please note that it is only the following IDs are accepted for discounted entry:

- Fire & Rescue Service (serving and retired)

- Police Officer (serving and retired)

- NHS Ambulance Service including CFRs.

- NHS employees

- Air Ambulance

- RNLI

- Mountain Rescue

- Mines Rescue

- Bomb Disposal

- Lowland Rescue

- Military

(Please contact us before visiting if you are unsure if you qualify for this discount).

Please note that Blue Light cards are not accepted as proof of ID, and cannot be used to gain discounted entry into the museum.

We would love to be a 100% free entry museum, but as a self-funded, independent charity, this is not possible.
